Today, dependent services require their own active access. The workspace checkout shows a combined quote and what is already active before you pay.
Water records & calculations
External approved consumption can enter Water records without Device cloud. Water metering requires Water records. Utility water billing also requires Water records; native metering is optional when you supply approved consumption from an existing system. Native physical-device workflows also require Device cloud.
Energy & AI operations
Weather, energy planning, predictions and model training have separate access requirements. Training also needs explicit workspace authorization; subscribing does not authorize training automatically.
Software connections
SAP/Maximo pilots and the synthetic equipment sandbox work independently of Device cloud. Laboratory and GIS operations use their documented access rules. Vendor subscriptions, API access and testing fees are separate.
A dedicated SENAITE installation.
Planning estimate: US$45–60 per month for infrastructure for a small pilot installation. Setup, support and applicable taxes are quoted separately. Actual infrastructure costs depend on region, storage, traffic and backup requirements; this is an estimate, not a fixed subscription price or spending cap.
Use your own installation or an authorized partner lab, or request managed hosting from your workspace. We prepare a scope and quote before launch. Hosting is provisioned only after the customer accepts the quote and payment arrangements are confirmed. No managed laboratory infrastructure is launched automatically.
